This is some of the best internet news I’ve heard in a while. It seems that Google is poised to launch it’s own free email service, called Gmail.

Get this: not only will it be free, but it will offer you 1 GIG of storage space, and the ability to receive and send emails with attachments up to 10 megs! HOLY FUCK! This blows my mind. Take that hotmail with your lame ass 2 meg maximum storage limit, unless you pay like 20 bucks, like some kind of asshole. Also, they will let you search through your email texts, just like you would search through Google normally. And you also have the ability to group email conversations, so that they are threaded - where a sent email and its replies will be all linked in together. I think they also plan to serve up text ads, but other than that, there won’t be any ad banners or anything.
