It seems like my last couple weeks in Baltimore are destined to be kind of shitty. Actually, I only have one week left from today. But I have been really sick the past few days. This morning was a disgusting first: I woke up and my eyes were completely sealed shut with that eye mucous that you get sometimes while you’re sleeping. Except there was a ton of it, and it was completely dry (you might even say crystallized) and it was completely acting like a glue closing my eyes. Horrible. But the fun part is that I actually feel a little better than the past few days. My coughing is now what they refer to as “productive” because phlegm and stuff is coming out. So hopefully it will only be a short while now before I’m back up to full speed. Also last night, I smoked a bunch of pot, which was fun at first until I was trying for hours to get to sleep and just growing more and more paranoid. I managed to avert a full-on meltdown, but it was really pretty close there for a couple hours. My eyelids are still stinging from where I washed off that crystallized eye-booger gunk. Fucking gross.
