Hi. Been a week since I wrote anything here I guess. I’ve been pretty busy since I got here last Friday with my brother. Saturday we did some kayaking in Saltsburg, courtesy of Saltsburg River & Trail. While there we had to mount an emergency search & rescue mission for a lost dog belonging to one of the guys we came with. The dog, Cello, fortunately was found. Since Sunday, my brother has been having me do some basic stained glass painting and firing to learn the more basic skills of handling the brushes & the paint, and applying stencils and stuff. It’s getting easier, but can be pretty tedious at times. I have to do some touch-ups to some designs and then fires them again today before we move on. Also, my brother has gotten me into running every day and lifting weights. Which is pretty fun. Right now I can slow-jog a mile and a half, which I hope to push up to two miles very soon. I’m having a good time here, but I miss being in Baltimore also. Anyway, I should probably stop blabbing and get to work…
Oh, two more things. I finally acquired one of those fabled Gmail accounts from Google, courtesy of being a longtime Blogger user. And also, Rebecca sent me something interesting from the Met called Poets, Lovers & Heroes in Italian Mythological Prints.
