My brother claims that there is a French word which describes the effect you see when you photocopy a photocopy of a photocopy, and so on. Where the original image is distorted and gradually morphed. Like in the game “Telephone” which we discovered is also called “Chinese Whispers” although I never heard that before.
Anyway, while trying to uncover this mystery French word, I happened across a game which sounds really fun, called “Eat Poop You Cat.” It’s sort of a cross between Pictionary and that Telephone game. Supposedly the first player writes a sentence on a piece of paper. The next person tries to make a drawing illustrating it. The third person only gets to see the drawing and has to write a caption for it. Then the next person only sees the caption and has to try and illustrate it. And so on and so forth.
It sounds really fun. There are some sites that archived games of it saved online. One of my favorite lines occurs on this page:
