This is directed to the folks over at The Juggler, (but any other people calling themselves pagans may answer) because I’m curious as to their opinions about the matter. I guess my question has a couple parts to it:
(1) How much of modern paganism do you think is a reaction against Christianity, and how much is it’s own thing?
(2) What made you decide to call yourself pagan?
I guess the reason I’m curious about all this stuff is that I feel like I share a lot of the same views and interests as y’all, but I’ve never been interested in labelling myself as a “pagan”. It just feels wrong to me somehow, and I haven’t ever been able to articulate it exactly.
Any thoughts on this would be very interesting.
