It’s black; it’s white

I like this quote from Blake in an article titled The Genesis Factor:

“William Blake, the Gnostic poet of the early nineteenth century, wrote of the differences between his view and the mainstream view of holy writ: ‘Both read the Bible day and night; but you read black where I read white.’”

Seems also that William Blake was married to a Catherine Boucher, which is my younger sister’s name as well:

In the same year he married a poor illiterate girl named Catherine Boucher, who was five years his junior. Catherine could neither read nor write and even signed her wedding contract with an X. Blake taught her reading and writing and even trained her as an engraver.

Also, I found another cool quote from Meister Eckhart:

The eye in which I see God is the same eye in which God sees me. My eye and God’s eye are one eye and one seeing, one knowing and one loving.
