This shit makes me want to seriously throw up

I was busy researching more on the NLFT and other Christian terrorists when I came across a absurdly titled informational article, “Are most Muslims terrorists?” off a site called ChristianAnswers.net. Here’s the closing paragraph of that article:

Rather than strike out at Muslims in anger, Christians must be held to the higher standard, Christ’s standard, of loving them. And by your love they may see Christ reflected in you and come to a personal encounter with Jesus. Although unreported by the media, there is evidence that God is moving mightily among Muslims and drawing them to Himself. Perhaps God has called you to be His messenger of peace in such a time as this.

So, on the one hand, at least they are admitting that not ALL Muslims are terrorists. But, on the other, they do advise that you try to bring them to God, because SHIT! Islam isn’t a REAL religion. Goddamn. This is some of the WORST kind of bullshit coming out of Christian groups (ahem, aside from the Southern Baptist Church supporting Christian terrorists, that is). This stuff makes me absolutely furious - hopping mad even!

Take a gander at two other essays linked from that one:

  • Why should Christians love Muslims?
  • As a Christian woman, how can I develop friendships with Muslim women?

This second one about Christian women developing friendships with Muslim women is some of the CREEPIEST shit I’ve read in a long time. It goes through this big list of places and ways to meet Muslim women, how to get to them to invite you to their home, and then once you’re there, to start blabbering about Jesus like an idiot, instead of having an actual REAL friendship with them, based on being a REAL person, instead of some kind of religious-freak. Here are some highlights from that article:

…The best way to meet Muslim women is to be introduced to them by someone else. This way they will trust you more quickly because you are their friend’s friend.

…Go out on your own and seek Muslim women. You might try ethnic (Middle Eastern, etc.) restaurants

…Take opportunities to share about your relationship with Jesus — your own testimony and experience. Be sure to extend an invitation to know Jesus personally.

Why on earth Christians can’t just let people live their lives without putting their foot up everybody’s ass all the time is absolutely fucking beyond me.

Shit, I’m not even going to look at their views on sex or abortion. Actually, these ones about sexual addiction look pretty funny. For example, this is an incredibly funny title for an article:

  • How can I tell if I’m getting addicted to sex or pornography?

I’m gonna pop in some completely hilarious & out-of-context quotes from this one:

…Are your sexual actions an effort to change your mood rather than express affections? Do you masturbate or search for some other sexual outlet when you’re depressed, bored, or angry?

…However, you realize that while your fascination with pornography, strip shows, or erotic talk lines isn’t compulsive, it is dangerous. You may be troubled by the feeling that your slumbering lust could awaken and take over at any moment.

A man’s lust, like a great dragon, has awakened from its slumber and threatens to take over his life.

I experienced this the night I looked through my neighbor’s window. It reminded me of the first time I got high on marijuana. I entered a new world and wanted to return to that world. There’s something about that first high that people want to recreate.

There’s another one called “Is there a way to overcome my lust for sex?”

What? Are people seriously worried about this? That’s like having an article entitled “Is there a way I can overcome pooping?” It’s like, NO! THERE’S NO WAY! AND YOU KNOW WHAT? ITS FUCKING NORMAL AND IT’S GOOD FOR YOU! SO GET ON WITH IT! GO OUT THERE AND FIND SOMEBODY WHO WANTS TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU, OR SIT AT HOME AND JERK OFF! I GUARANTEE YOU’LL FEEL BETTER!

Religions making people feel guilty about sex functions exactly in the same way as pointless laws like 55mph speed limits on highways. The goal is to make everyone into a potential criminal. Bring them to and maintain in them a constant state of tension and agitation. That way people become constantly fearful that their “evil behavior” is going to be caught. And when it randomly is, they are rendered docile and manageable. Not to mention that it is much easier to imprint people with ideas and behavioral command settings while they are in an unpleasant agitated state. People who are happy and whole and satisfied aren’t going to believe every ridiculous lie and buy every worthless product you try to cram down their throats.

As sinful human beings, our lustful appetites are so evil, they’ll use God’s good commands to tempt us. Like a rod stirring up dirt that has settled to the bottom of a jar of water, so God’s law excites our lust. Forbidden things are more exciting. Women who are off-limits take on a greater appeal. God says don’t and our lust says do. God says do and our lust says don’t.

Exactly. Maintain a state of constant turmoil and confusion, and then BAM! Ask them for a bunch of money, with the implicit understanding that will help their situation.

Anyway, they have a ton of other nonsense on this site too. Like movie reviews. Their one for Super-Size Me goes on and on about the film-maker’s hypocrisy in that while he condemns gluttony, he doesn’t even bat an eyelash at his own pre-marital sexual sins with his girlfriend. And on Van Helsing, they say, “Sadly, the movie does not treat God or the Bible with utmost respect.” Well, why the fuck would it? Seriously. This stuff is just laughable. Here’s the home page for their Entertainment Spotlight section.

Plus there are crazy movies you can buy, like “Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution,” which use such common animals as a killer whale and a giraffe and woodpecker to argue for Creationism.

All right. I gotta stop looking at this stuff. It’s making my head hurt.
