Catholic History of Abortion
Did you know that the Catholic Church wasn’t always anti-abortion? As recently as 1869, the Church adhered to the “Doctrine of Passive Conception,” which stated that the fetus was soulless until the fifth month of pregnancy. And that before that period in the pregnancy, abortion was acceptable.
