My brother listens to news radio and stuff a bunch in the mornings and mentioned the following two items to me, which I have been unable to find info about online. Both seem wildly outrageous.

  • Some kind of FCC regulation was supposedly passed, which would place an NC-17 rating on televised beauty pageants, like Miss America, where the female contestants are clad “only” in bathing suits.
  • The Republican party supposedly filed a lawsuit last week to block advertising for Fahrenheit 9/11, claiming that it amounts to unfair advertising for the Kerry campaign.

    Has anybody else heard of these? If so, post in some links.
