Found this site, Lake Monster Culture, which I want to come back to and explore more fully. It’s some grad student or something who got a fellowship to go around and study the impact of mythical lake monsters on the cultures around where these monsters are purported to dwell. Seems kinda cool. We’ll see. (Here’s an article about it.)
