Spiderman 2
Saw Spiderman 2 tonight. I liked it, but don’t want to go into it too much at the moment. But there were just two humongous plot-holes that I can’t help but comment on.
1) Why in the hell would anybody be doing an experiment in nuclear fusion in a New York City loft?
2) Do you really think that a newly formed miniature version of the sun could really be extinguished by submerging it in the East River?
You know what I did think was a really good detail though? Was when he goes to his doctor for a checkup, and they’re talking about his “dreams,” and the doctor has on a Greatful Dead t-shirt. It adds a nice additional unspoken layer to the whole scene, I think.
