Strange Change

Sunday night, when my brother and I got back from Toronto, we were thirsty to go out someplace. The only place we heard was open was a tiny latin bar called Club Havana. It seems like every city has a “Club Havana” or a “Havana Club.” We walked in, and the dancefloor was really crowded. We immediately bumped into a friend of my brother’s, who was whirling away in the arms of some latin guy on the dancefloor. She looked up at us with this super duper weird look on her face, like we had just woken her up out of a dream or something. At the time, I just credited to the fact that we had caught her by surprise in the middle of a dance. But my brother spoke with her the next day. And she said something kind of weird. She said that when we walked in, she saw some kind of illumination around us, almost like angels or something. Like we looked totally different from when we’d seen her last, which was only a couple weeks before. It’s odd, because I feel like we definitely learned something or came in contact with something important during our trip up to Toronto. I’m not quite able to explain whatever it was that changed, and maybe I don’t need to. But it’s really interesting that other people can spot it too.
