Cell Phone Spermicide
An interesting article on MSNBC, about a study in Hungary which purports to link reduced sperm count to cell phone use. As much as a 30% drop, even from just having your phone in standby in one of your pockets.
Of course, this is the kind of study that could only realistically take place and be publicized in a country way way outside the reach of US corporations and media notice.
Also interesting to note, is that within the first line of this article, you are instantly reassured that “fertility experts dismissed” this study, so that you needn’t worry your pretty little balls about it. What kind of journalism is it, to instantly try and discredit the rest of the information which follows in a news item? Shouldn’t you just report the news item? I mean, giving conflicting sides to a story is essential, but this seems overboard.
Plus, just who are these “fertility experts”? Are they doctors who are funded by money coming from mega-corporations? Experts-for-hire? Smells like it to me.
Also, worth noting are the humongous ads for Levitra appearing throughout the page. Very very interesting.
