I want to make a kids’ book based on this drawing:

The premise of the story would be that “demons” living underground had built a factory where they were recycling the body-parts of dead animals and people to create body-vessels for themselves. They need to do this in order to come over to the physical earth-plane, and enslave its inhabitants. Otherwise they would be just shapeless forms.

Then, once the demons build their body-vehicles, they come here, only to realize that it’s a much better place to hang out in and have fun than to take over. Then there would be all sorts of hilariously absurd mishaps, where they try to fit into ordinary society. Of course, being demons, they have no real concept of how ordinary society works… Like, you could have a scene where they go to a shopping mall , and try on clothes which of course don’t fit them. Stuff like that.

Of course, it would probably also have some cool fighting scenes in it too, knowing me. Cause not all the ordinary humans are going to take kindly to whacked out demons walking around.

I think it would be a hoot. And if my own bizarre mind as a child is any indication, all kinds of weird little kids would love it.
