The dream I had just before I woke up this morning involved a little plant. For whatever reason, somebody had instructed me to take this little plant, and remove it from the soil, and throw it away, because it “wasn’t growing.” But it was growing, and I could see that, but the other person couldn’t. In fact, I could see that it was about to yield some beans or something out of these pods growing on it. (Possibly magic beans, a la Jack & the Beanstalk?) But at first, I followed the person’s suggestion, and took the plant apart, stem by stem, and removed the soil. Each stem of the plant I threw onto a little trash pile.

But then there was some point in the dream, where I was like, wait a second, I don’t have to do what this person says. I know what to do with this little plant, how to care for it. So, I went and took the sections of the plant from the trash heap, and put them back into the pot. Covered them with soil and water, and the whole thing turned into this super concentrated, super fertile smooshy ooze. And I could tell this was the best condition for the plant to grow under.
