Lost Keys & Accidental Monkey Evolution

Here’s a couple fun articles I found today. The first one is from Iran, I think. It’s about a man who sixteen years ago, shot himself in the leg, and lost his keys at the same time. What a bummer! A recent x-ray uncovered that his keys were still lodged in his leg, and had been this whole time. Three keys! How could you not feel them scuttling around inside you for 16 years?

A monkey in an Israeli zoo has begun walking exclusively on its hind legs. Ordinarily, black macaques alternate between walking on all fours and moving about on their hind legs, according to the article. They believe a recent near-fatal illness may have caused some kind of brain change (or damage). Apparently, Natasha, the macaque is otherwise behaving normally, except that she’s also started speaking and fashioning primitive tools… just kidding… or am I???

But isn’t the monkey creepy looking? Doesn’t it look super-intelligent? On a related note, this monkey looks almost EXACTLY like that monkey which I wrestled with about a month ago in a dream. In the dream, the monkey “knew a lot about the Old Testament” and we eventually came to terms with one another. Hm, well, this monkey is from the Holy Land, so maybe this is the SAME MONKEY! Hehe.

In a semi-related article, it seems the infamous Nazca lines in Peru have sustained a lot of damage recently. One of the animal figures etched in the landscape there, a monkey, has recently lost part of it’s tail. The drawing is now said to be walking upright as well… just kidding… or am I??? (Here’s a very dim photo of the Nazca monkey.)
