Last night’s dreams

Almost forgot to my usual dream report. Nothing terribly interesting, plus my notes are mostly illegible, so I’m just gonna do some quick highlights and go back to my reading for most of the rest of the night.

  • I remember one part of one dream where I was outside in the rain, and bumped into this lady who had a too-large red umbrella. And in bumping into her, I accidentally broke part of it.
  • In another dream I was at my brother’s house, and went outside to move the car for some reason. The car turned out to be this white jeep, which I moved pretty far away. Too far away in fact. So I decided to drive this back street and move it closer. The road narrowed and turned into this dirt trail. Luckily my jeep seemed to shrink as well to fit through it. Until there was this flooded stream running right through the woods in my way. So I did that Flintstones thing, and somehow stuck my feet through the bottom of the car, lifted it up, and waded across carrying it around me. Then I got back on the trail and got back to driving until I came to what I thought was the back of his house. Only I knew it wasn’t really. But his weight bench was outside, so I convinced myself it was. I opened the door into this parlor area, and there was this big family (mostly women and kids) of South Pacific islander-looking people who all stared at me blankly. The room seemed to be in my grandfather’s house, or at least reminiscent of it. Come to think of it, my grandfather fought in the South Pacific in WWII, so maybe that’s a connection.
  • This other dream was pretty bizarre, or at least had some unusual parts. There was one part with this guy who had a sort of mechanical attachment/connection-outlet on one part of his forehead giving an interview about these young women who were living inside of these cement sewer-type tubes someplace. Then, I ended up at some kind of like pagan/wiccan shop, and it turned out these girls lived in these tubes like behind the store or something. I remember being inside some of them with some of the girls, just talking. They were clean though, not filled with sewage. They had like art and graffiti inside of them, and were big enough to function sort of like rooms. There was some other part where I was back in the shop, and I was reading a book which they referred to as “the tick,” which was supposed to be some kind of medieval witchcraft/druid-lore book with tons of little drawings of plants and animals in it. People used “the tick” as a sort of reference book to help memorize how different creatures/plants looked, and their associated medicinal/magical uses. There was also some part where this one girl was sitting behind me, and rubbing this one part of my back, like right in the middle (sort of opposite my solar plexus), and nowhere else. It didn’t feel especially good, but it did cause my whole body to fill up with warmth. Come to think of it, that’s roughly the location of the third chakra (manipura), I think. That chakra’s referred to as yellow in color, and I do seem to recall there being some kind of yellowish light to the whole feeling…

Okay, back to my new books. Yay! I haven’t read four books at once since I was a wee lad. Whoohoo!
