I spent all day helping clear out the side yard of a friend’s property in preparation for it to be rented next week. I got to do a whole lot of garbage-picking, shoveling, vine ripping-downing, lifting and throwing big rocks and things. It was pretty fun. I haven’t really done any real physical labor where I get all dirty and crazy for a long ass time. Anyway, the weirdest thing that happened today was that I heard an ad for the Freemasons on the radio, on the mainstream rock station. Just a straight up ad about how cool it is to join the Masons. Like it was nothing. Since when in hell did they start advertising? This is the web address they mentioned on it.
