I had a bizarre dream earlier where I was in the woods, at the bottom of this hill, and these super weird looking animals were waddling down the hill towards me. A whole troop of them, maybe between a dozen and twenty in number. They resembled ducks for the most part, except they had four legs instead of two. And their body shape was consequently kind of different. They were grey and white and had crests on their heads. And instead of wings, they had this projections jutting off above their back legs, which vaguely resembled wings but were too small and immovable to really be used for flying.

In my dream, I understood that the name of this creature was “Haxturix,” but of course, that name returns no results online. That said, breaking the word down into component parts produced some interesting results. “Hax” in Portuguese means “hash,” (as in cannabis resin), and “Turix” in Yucatec, evidently means “dragonfly.”
