Based on how awesome I think some of the other Wiki projects out there are, I’d like to put together one on this site as well. Basically, for newbies, a Wiki is a super-simple sort of database that you can run through a website. It’s almost like you get to set up an encyclopedia with entries which people can add onto.

Wikipedia, the best one I know of, which I consult constantly, has an entry about what a wiki is and how it works. Here’s a quick article someplace else overviewing the topic.

Actually, this right here is the best article I’ve found giving the most complete and interesting introductory info on the topic: Wide Open Spaces: Wikis, Ready or Not.

I found only one other “occult wiki” online. I’ll probably initially get it started by filling in entries based on old blog posts, and then see where it goes from there. It should be fun. Hopefully not too much technical work to set up, but we’ll see. I found this one website which has a few mentions of different PHP software you can do to set it up, so that’s where I’ll start.
