Seems there are a handful of churches in Mexico which have taken a novel approach to stop people from taking cell phone calls during mass. They jam them.

Using technology from an Israeli electronic-warfare company, these churches mount equipment in their churches which look like speakers, but which actually interfere with cell phone transmissions. Everybody’s phone is thus serves a “no signal” message while they are in the church.

If only they could figure out an electronic interference technology which would “jam” signals from that nefarious nincompoop, Satan.
