Jack Chick’s New Movie
I was just over at the website of the Intolerant Prince of “Christian” Propaganda, Jack Chick and was delighted to discover that he’s come out with a wonderful new DVD which you can purchase and use it in your “ministry” to “unsaved people who watch tv”. The movie is called “Light of the World,” and there are some clips which you can view online. There is actually a quote on that page which says:
- You can almost feel the crackling flames of hell as you watch.
Honestly, I couldn’t agree with that statement more. The only one you really need to watch to get a sense of it for yourself is the first one, titled “Controversial” which you can either see via a pop up on their site, or you should be able to download it directly from this link which I pilfered from their HTML coding.
It’s really rather incredible. The movie seems to consist of a series of still paintings, along with a voiceover which uses a hodgepodge of Bible passages and questionable commentary and interpretation. Most of the pictures seem to be of demons, of angels throwing people into hell, of his gigantic faceless God, or of the blood of Christ flowing profusely from the Crucifixion. God help us all, indeed.
