Draft Bill Stomped in House

Just found out that the Draft Bill which came up in Congress today was smashed by a vote of 402-2, so we’re safe for at least one more month. After that though, I wouldn’t go around counting your chickens, because when they hatch, they are most assuredly going to get drafted and sent off to fight in some corporation’s war.

I would like to know which two assholes did vote for this Bill though…

And, while we’re talking about assholes, four more American soldiers are being charged with the murder of Iraqi prisoner, bringing the number of US soldiers charged with murder in Iraq so far up to ten.
