Which Congressmen voted for the Draft?

Special thanks to the Honorable Lisa Beebe of California for tracking down the information I was too lazy to look up in my previous post about the Universal Service Act, HR 163 being demolished in the House yesterday.

The two brave souls who voted for the act, despite the overwhelming 402 nays, were democrats: Congressman John Murtha of Pennsylvania, and Congressman Pete Stark of California. Old coots the both of them. They both look like the kind of guys who think forcing everyone to serve in the military for imbecilic corporate wars is “patriotic.”

Here’s the official roll call of votes. You can also check out the daily proceedings from the floor of the House.
