  3. A Croatian bank robber was so humiliated that he ran away after a bank clerk just laughed at him when he tried to rob them.
  4. The University of Kansas is putting together a three day academic event focused on the cultural importance of Godzilla, in commemoration of his 50th birthday.
  5. A British inventor has created a vaccuum cleaner that hovers.
  6. A real-life gingerbread house built by artists in Austria has been scheduled for demolition because it quickly became a health risk and attracted all kinds of rats and birds.
  7. A guy named Max Leitner has successfully escaped for the fourth time in a row from an Italian prison.
  8. A school in Peru is under investigation for requiring proof of virginity for girls as part of it’s admission
  9. In Guatemala, a soccer team consisting of prostitutes lost 3-1 to a team made up of police women. The team was formed to help highlight their poor working conditions; prostitution is legal in Guatemala, but they sometimes receive as little as $2.50 for sex.
