How bars work

You know, I love it when people come to my website and leave comments. In fact, I thrive on it. It gives me a chance to see what other people are thinking, and how what they’re all about meshes with or contrasts against what I’m all about. It’s great, and though things may get heated and language may become colorful, its all good at the end of the day.

Just keep in mind that when you come into my bar, and you ask for a drink, I’m gonna serve you a drink. Maybe its not how you’re used to getting your drinks served to you. But it’s a drink. And you can either drink it or you can get the hell out of my bar. Simple.

If you want a drink, you’re absolutely welcome to it. Pull up a stool, sit down, and enjoy. Nobody’s here to have anything but a good time. If you want to yell at me, fine go ahead. I’m into it. If you just want polite conversation, that’s cool too. But bear in mind that I’m gonna come back at you with a mirror of how I feel that you’re coming at me. If I think you’re criticizing me or calling me names, I’m gonna dish it right back at ya, sweetheart. Don’t fret. It’s nothing personal. I don’t know you; in fact, I don’t even give the slightest shit. Things may get hectic - I don’t claim to be impartial, objective, or perfect. But I do, in fact, claim to be biased, opinionated, outspoken, arrogant, and a bunch of other things - including honest. I will tell you what I think, I won’t pull any punches, and I hope you’ll do the same.

Accusations and epithets may be thrown about, but that’s just the way I conduct my business. I think it’s a lot of fun. Some people may not. But I like to see people at their most animated and impassioned. If you want to be part of it, the more the merrier. If you don’t, well theres plenty of other bars just on down the street.

Now where’s that goddamned whiskey…
