I just accidentally discovered that somebody has beaten me to using “Occult Investigator” in a book title. Apparently, it was put out a couple months ago by a fellow named Bob Johnson. The full title is “Occult Investigator: Real Cases from the Files of X- Investigators“. Here’s one of the customer reviews for it:
- Occult Investigator is a thrilling look at a modern-day paranormal research outfit headed by author Bob Johnson. From werewolves in Van Nuys, California to Satanists living next door, the X-Investigations team are at the top of their game in this book. The stories are chilling and remind us that it’s nice to have someone on your side when things go bump in the night!
Sounds kinda cool. Haven’t read it (yet) of course, but it sounds a lot like a pretty cool occult/paranormal case study book by researcher Brad Steiger, Out of the Dark: The Complete Guide to Beings from Beyond. While I wouldn’t say it’s totally “complete” it certainly is interesting and covers a lot of ground.
Here’s Brad Steiger’s site. He has a rather lengthy questionnaire which you can fill out and send to him describing any paranormal experiences you’ve had. It’s called The Steiger Questionnaire of Mystical, Paranormal, & UFO Experiences. I’m having trouble locating the author of that Occult Investigator book though, Bob Johnson. I’d love to throw him a link, but I’ll guess I’ll just have to keep investigating…
