I have this theory about Bush and Kerry and what has to happen. The theory basically goes like this: Bush represents something really negative in the world. But according to my own special brand of sometimes-quasi-Taoism, everything that happens has an equal and opposite reaction, in order to maintain the balance. In reaction to Bush, there has been an enormous leap and accelaration of whatever positive force is his opposite. I feel like good things are happening and have happened already because of the sudden influx of energy from both sides. The system is evolving to a higher state.

The question comes down to whether its better to allow the whole thing to run itself out as quickly as possible, or to try and slow it down. It’s almost like if Kerry wins, the country will be taking a cold medicine - we will be covering up the symptoms of the sickness and trying to get back to work. My own personal philosophy with sickness though, is to lay in bed with all the covers on, drink a ton of water, and let the damn thing run its course. Let the fever dreams soar.
