My friend just sent me a link to one of the most amazing sites I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty comfortable reading things that I don’t agree with usually, but this guy really takes the hate-cake: John Shelley’s Journal.
One site (of only two) which I found linking to him, said that he’s so full of hatred that he makes “Strom Thurmond look like MLK, Jr.”
This guy’s stuff is really quite mind-boggling, and oddly hypnotic. Just pick out pretty much any of his articles at random. He packs every sentence with a hundred different plays on words insulting different people and groups of people, in a hyper-linked stream-of-consciousness frenzy. And the cursing, wow! He’s almost like the James Joyce of hatred and omni-directional fury. It’s like some crazy layered surrealist postmodern journey where everything is a nodal point for a new explosion of vitriolic shrapnel flying in every direction at once. And he is always linking to threads on a discussion board at a site called Free Republic.
I mean, he uses racial slurs that I actually had to look up in the dictionary. It’s really something. I don’t know what the word is. He’s really letting his freak-flag fly. I wonder what he’s like in person. Oh, I almost forgot what is possibly the best part of this whole thing: that this guy’s almost mystical union with hatred is a subsection of his business’s website.
What kind of business, you ask? He runs a garden center and nursery.
