For some reason, a book I had as a kid just popped into my head for the first time in years. It was called Henry the Explorer. Looks like it’s out of print now, but there’s a copy for sale on eBay. Anyway, this was one of my favorite books when I was a wee lad, although I don’t remember all the details of what happens in it. I do remember that this little boy, Henry, sets out in the snow around where he lives, and he has all these little flags with the letter “H” on them, that he plants on all the different places that he explores. Does anybody else remember this book? I feel like this book probably had a bigger impact on me than I realize. I’d love to go back and read it.
