Did anybody hear about this jet that crashed on the way to pick up George Bush, Sr? All three people in the crew were killed. The plane was going to take him to Ecuador. The reason for the crash is not yet known, although it has been attributed mostly to “fog” and “poor visibility” in the preliminary reports on it. CNN reports:

The cause of the crash — just south of Hobby airport — was not immediately known. Television station KHOU reported that the plane had apparently clipped a light pole prior to the crash.

… It burst into flames when it hit the ground, and fire crews rushed to the scene.

… Roger Smith, spokesman for the Houston airport system, said visibility Monday morning was “not ideal,” but not poor enough to alter operations. Video from the time of the crash showed some fog and haze.

The plane’s company, Jet Place, Inc. has never had a crash before. This all seems highly suspicious to me though, and if I was going to leap to cospiratorial conclusions, I might suggest that it was a botched assassination attempt. Or else, it was - what you call - a warning…
