Man, isn’t that just the title you’ve always dreamed of seeing in a job ad? I know I have. Anyway, my friend Mike passed along a link to a movie production company that is/was doing just that: hiring a full-time blogger to cover the making of their movie, Coming Down the Mountain. They’re talking about how they want to have a blog about it, but the producers don’t have time to doodle around on the internet all-day, so they are gonna hire somebody (they already have somebody in mind, sorry) to come in and like talk to everybody on the set, and then go off and write pretty much autonomously about all of what’s going on. It seems like a great idea, and hopefully it’s something that other people will pick up on and maybe it will even become a fairly regular thing. We can keep our fingers crossed anyway.
