My friend John emailed me this the other day: it’s one of those dealies where like you put on this electrode hat, and then like using your “thought-power” alone, you can move a cursor around on a computer screen. The concept is obviously really cool, but technology like this is still super primitive. They have this real shitty drawing of like lines that somebody drew with their mind as an example. In either case, it’s pretty cool though. The article talks about how it’s like gonna make all these great advancements for disabled people and stuff. And that’s probably true, but articles like this love to ignore the more likely fact that the military will just buy and apply this to some kind of crazy killing device.
