I was just listening to Steely Dan’s masterpiece, “My Old School.” That song contains one of my favorite parts of any song of all time. I’m not even sure why I like it so much, it’s weird. It’s the part just before and up to where he sings: “California… tumbles into the sea / that’ll be the day I go back to Annandale.” I don’t know why, but whenever I hear that part of that song, I always get like chills or some kind of weird great feeling. Does anybody else know what the hell I’m talking about here?
