Over a year ago, I discovered this website with a bunch of content written by Nicholas De Vere. It’s since been taken down, but it talked about things like the Grail bloodline, and elves and other stuff that sounds like nonsense at first glance. But some of the writing and research was really interesting. But also mixed in was a lot of weird elitism and outright racism, on behalf of people who thought they were part of these “dragon” bloodlines. Anyway, there was some big scuffle at some point, and De Vere’s work was taken off the website it was originally on. I never found a satisfactory answer as to why until last night. This is an item which was posted by the owners of that site, explaining why they removed De Vere’s work. In a nutshell, he had originally agreed to put it up there free of charge for the general public. Later on though, he found a publisher (albeit a very shitty one) and demanded the removal of his work. Then he tried to sue the original owners for control of the site, which he lost. And then followers of his camp tried to ruin the website by massive trolling attacks. Or so claims this letter. In any event, the website I found this on also has a bunch of other articles about this whole elven-grail-vampire-dragon bloodline thing and I’ll post from it if there’s anything worthwhile. [UPDATE: I looked through that site and it’s total poopy. Forget I even mentioned it.]

PS. Against my better judgement, I recently bought De Vere’s book, The Dragon Legacy and what seemed like interesting coherent writing on the internet at 3:30 in the morning turns out to be almost utter garbage in book form by the light of day. However I had a feeling this would be the case, which is why I held off for so long in getting it. My mistake. Plus there’s just some outright racist things in it, which just fucking pisses me off. Especially because it’s so ridiculous. It’s like “elven supremacists,” I mean what a gay fucking thing to try to be racist about, something you can’t even prove to be real.
