I can’t fucking believe this is real. This to me for some reason is one of the most dire of all recent news events that I have read. I think it’s because it’s the kind of small scale thing that really shows the intensity of the infestation of whatever fucked up force is currently at play in our country:

OCALA, Fla. — Two boys, ages 9 and 10, were charged with felonies and taken away from school in handcuffs, accused of making violent drawings of stick figures.

The boys were arrested Monday on charges of making a written threat to kill or harm another person, a second-degree felony.

The special education students used pencil and red crayon to draw primitive stick figure scenes on scrap paper that showed a 10-year-old classmate being stabbed and hung, police said.

Is this a joke? When I first read this, I could have sworn that it was an article on the Onion. Read the rest here. But for your convenience, here’s a graphic showing the felonious drawing these boys made. I mean, good lord, this drawing is fucking nothing. It’s less than nothing. First off, these kids need to go back to art class and get a clue. I do like the spilled blood though, although I think it looks more like a giant vat of blood. And it also doesn’t look so much like they are stabbing the boy as it does that they are maybe trying to restrain him from falling into this big vat of blood. Maybe it’s not even blood. Maybe its jelly. Maybe the “swords” are actually the one boy going through a protective barrier, trying to get to the vat of jelly.

The point I’m trying to make here, of course, is that this is bullshit. If this were a real law, I would have been so locked away for the rest of my life since the time I was a fucking small boy. Who the hell hasn’t drawn all kinds of crazy pictures of weird violence? Especially when you’re a preteen. Goddamn. I have notebooks FULL of this kind of shit (with much better drawing skills, of course) going back years and years. Boys on the verge of puberty have all kinds of raging hormones and feelings that are breaking through to the surface. If you remove their ability to express those feelings creatively, then you’re going to see all kinds of CRAZY EXPLOSIONS and fucked up stuff that they do in real life later on. They’re going to just fucking pop under all the pressure to try to prevent themselves from committing thoughtcrimes. God, when will people get this shit straight? Or maybe that’s just it, is that they are doing this to us on purpose.

Anyway, the other thing that I wanted to complain about here is the boy who was the “target” of this “murderous drawing.” What a fucking pussy this kid is. I mean, seriously. If you raised a little boy who gets fucking threatened by a crappy drawing from some classmates, then this little bastard is going to get EATEN ALIVE in the real world. More likely though, he will never even approach the real world, and will remain in this bullshit hazy realm where people can’t separate real danger from the wild imaginations of two silly little boys. You know what this kid should have done instead, is he should have made a better drawing. He should have made a drawing of these two other boys getting their heads ripped off by a dragon, and then showing the dragon pooping the boys out into the mouths of their mothers, who were also dead, who had been impaled on giant spikes right through their assholes. And the drawing should have been so awesome and awe-inspiring that the boys all became friends and started drawing comic books together. Because that’s what boys REALLY do and that’s perfectly normal and healthy.

It’s fucking nonsense. If this is really the direction the world is going in, then we really are doomed, and all this bullshit about peak oil and gold and the breakdown of industrial yadda yadda yadda is just going to look like a teensy little footnote to the utter collapse of what it really means to be a human and to be able to have an imagination, and to have feelings and to be alive. And this is the kind of thing that each of us has a say in, and each of us experiences. This is not some far off thing controlled by the Illuminati. Each of us has a chance to make an impact and to be a real person, and not some little twat who runs off to the cops instead of handling a perfectly normal situation which used to just be called “growing up.”
