I came across this list at beliefnet of their “picks” for the best spiritual and/or religious blogs on the web, and it gave me an idea: to start some fights! Hahaha. Well, maybe not on purpose anyway. But it would be fun to do some short snappy reviews of other people in “the biz” and what they seem to be all about. Seeing as people make snap judgements about my blog all the time, I think it’s time I returned the favor and “took this shit to the streets,” as they say. Actually, I don’t know who says that, but you know what I’m getting at. Who knows, maybe we can turn some heads and get some panties in a bunch while we’re at it.

I’ll have to find some other directories to scour for reviews I think. I remember the Revealer having some lists - here’s one, and another. Blogexplosion has some super-shitty religious blogs, although maybe my energy is better directed elsewhere. About.com has a list of “pagan” weblogs which ought to be a real hoot (Incidentally, I’m at the top of their list, though I don’t consider myself a pagan). The Juggler is also a good spot to steal links from.

It’s gonna be a real tightrope walk with some of these. I don’t want to just straight out trash anybody, but neither do I want to be really positive when I think they suck. I’ll have to put some kind of disclaimer on these for the site owners when they eventually trace back their referals to me. Hm, I’ll work on something diplomatic, yet subtly condescending. Something about starting “dialogues” to blah blah blah. Hehe. No, I can’t even write that with a straight face.
