Just when you thought it was safe to give kids medically prescribed speed to turn them into robots, it turns out that it’s not! Well, at least in Canada, it’s not safe. It’s perfectly safe once you cross the US border though. Cool, right? A USA Today article says:

Canadian regulators ordered a drug for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder off the market because of reports that it has been linked to 20 sudden deaths and a dozen strokes, including some among children.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, however, said it had evaluated the same reports on Adderall XR and doesn’t believe the data warrants similar action in the United States.

The FDA is so cute! It’s really kind of precious the shit they get away with. I mean, twenty sudden deaths, and a dozen strokes (oh, and convulsions), and the FDA is like, “Nothing to see here, folks… People die suddenly every day. BUY MORE DRUGS! WHOO! SPRING BREAK!”

The drug in question is Adderall XR. Here is their official site, and here’s an informational bit on it at About.com. I mean, first of all, who came up with the fucking idea to give amphetamines to children? What son of a bitch asshole piece of shit decided that it was okay to push designer drugs on kids? Fucking 14 kids have died from this shit just spontaneously. Two other kids had fucking strokes! Just because they couldn’t sit still through an unnatural fucked up educational system, no doubt. This shit makes me so furious - I think I might have a stroke myself.

The beauty part is that these deaths didnt even occur in Canada, but their health requirements as a country are stringent enough that they are taking this shit off the market. Cause why should people die just so some cock-suckers can make a profit? Oh wait, that’s our entire power structure as a society, isn’t it? Whoops, my bad! Apparently a million fucking people are on this drug, or just straight Adderall in the US. A spokesman for the manufacturer, Shire Pharmaceuticals Group, said that the company “remains confident in the safety and efficacy” of the drug. Right, they remain confident that the American government’s drug cartel, the FDA, is going to keep allowing the robotization and pharmaceutical manslaughter of children.
