I’ve decided to launch another blog, about what I call “Story-Systems.” I even made a snappy header graphic for it. Check it out.

Unlike this blog here, where I basically set a roving eye to any and everything, the story-systems blog will be intensely focused on my ideas about comparative religion, mythology and pop culture and the matrix where they intersect. For a taste of what the hell I’m talking about, check out my investigations section, in the existing story-systems section. I’m going to be going through those old articles, picking them apart and rebuilding them in much better more coherent formats, and organizing them a lot better. I’m also gonna put together a lot of cool diagrams, downloadable pdfs and all kinds of other goodies to enhance the experience.

I basically want to do it because it’s one of the most substantial and interesting pieces of all my research so far. I want to be able to present it as a complete package, and under its own sort of “brand name” separate from the “occult investigator” stuff we’re doing here. This was it may also draw some interest from people who would otherwise be turned off my all the talk of the occult, etc.

Some of you may remember me blabbering about making this stuff into a book last month. That project sort of stalled on me, I think because I wasn’t totally able to see the big picture, and how all the smaller details fit together. Hopefully putting together this story-systems sub-site will help me sort that all out. I’ll post a link to it when everything’s up and running.
