I have been approached by an organization I’m not going to to name for the reproduction of some content from my site for use in some of their publications. It’s really only a paragraph of my original text, plus a bunch of quotes from other sources. They are apparently applying separately to those sources. Anyway, in addition to using it in printed materials, they want to also have it available for three years afterwards on their website. They are a charitable organization, but they do charge fees for their publications. So my question is, how do I determine a reasonable usage fee based on all that information? Anybody have any educated guesses or places I could go for more information? Contact me privately if you have any help to offer.
