Thanks to Fantastic Planet for locating this excellent essay: “Debunking conspiracy theorists’ paranoid fantasies about Sept. 11.” It’s one of the smarter, more fun pieces I’ve read on this in a good while. To spoil the surprise for you, the essay actually tries to debunk the “official” story of 9/11, showing that it bears all the hallmarks of ludicrous, irrational and improbable conspiracy theory.

The site this came off of looks like it has a lot of other interesting essays. I’m gonna come back and check out this one about 911 and the Reichstag Fire.
