In response to my post about GW and Nostradamus’ predictions concerning the Anti-Christ, a reader pointed me back to a wonderfully strange site I visited once before (at the advice of another reader, actually) called Etemenanki.

One of the major strands of symbolism on the Etemenanki site (which I’ll talk more about elsewhere) is this idea that Arnold Schwarzenegger is being symbolically/magically groomed to take on a mythological role of King / Messiah / Anti-Christ - and that he is going to become the next president. As you may know, operations are already underway to amend the Constitution so that Arnold, who was not born in the US, would be allowed to run and hold office. Check out the Amend for Arnold site for more details on that campaign.

Looks like Etemenanki is not the only site predicting Arnold’s rise to power. Alex Jones’ Infowars also has a section devoted to Arnold’s coming role. Jones claims that Schwarzenegger was tapped by the secret society of the Bohemian Grove, first to become Governor, and then President. (Also check out this article on Bohemian Grove at FAIR)

You may recall that there was another president who was both an actor and Governor of California: Ronald Reagan. While you’re at it, check out Reagan’s page on the IMDB. Evidently he had some 55 movies under his belt. Etemenanki also points to Schwarzenegger taking a very notable and very public role in the funeral of Reagan. Even media outlets are already comparing the two figures.

Going even deeper down the rabbit hole, people have uncovered some chilling quotes from Schwarzenegger in the 1970’s. In a Rolling Stone 1976 interview, he is supposedly quoted as saying:

“At that point, I didn’t think about money. I thought about the fame, about just being the greatest. I was dreaming about being some dictator of a country or some savior like Jesus . . .

A year later, he is quoted in the film Pumping Iron (on IMDB) as saying:

I was always dreaming about very powerful people, dictators and things like that. I was just always impressed by people who could be remembered for hundreds of years, or even, like Jesus, be for thousands of years remembered.”

For more quotes and info on Arnold’s background, check out this site, ArnoldExposed.com. One of the other interesting things I found out there is that Arnold’s dad was evidently a Nazi SS officer. Check out this article for more on this, as well as George W. Bush’s and Karl Rove’s family connections to the Nazis, (Bush’s grandpa helped fund the Nazis and Rove’s helped run the party and build death camps). That article also relates Arnold’s other famous 1977 interview quote:

“I admire Hitler, for instance, because he came from being a little man with almost no formal education, up to power. I admire him for being such a good public speaker and for what he did with it.”

Plus there is this whole thing about Arnold’s infamous movie role as “The Terminator.” The plot of the movie series is essentially that in the future the world is taken over by “machines” and that “real humans” become the underground resistance. (For more on the topic of “fake” versus “real” humans, check out this older post of mine - one of my favorites) This is basically the same plot, but inverted, as the Matrix series. Which makes sense, since both are said to have been plagiarized from the same source.

Also interesting to note is that before being the Terminator, a ruthless machine, he was Conan the Barbarian. And that the Terminator movies are about the triumph of the machines over the barbaric imperfect humans. Even more chilling is that in our current international mess, we are subduing the “barbarians” in order to fuel the machine of our economy with oil. (Also extremely weird is that he was in Predator with Jesse Ventura, who is now governor of Minnesota. Why would that movie spawn two governors?)

Almost forgot, there was also a cool thing on Etemenanki about Schwarzenneger’s being married to Maria Schriver, since she is of the Kennedy clan. The thinking goes that President Kennedy’s administration was called “Camelot” making him an Arthurian figure. Arthurian legend centers around the Holy Grail, which either collected the blood of Christ as a chalice, or was the bloodline of Christ passed on through Mary Magdalene (a la the Da Vinci Code). The idea then is that the Anti-Christ (Schwarzenegger), must possess somehow the blood(line) of Christ in order to gain power. This theme is also central to the WB movie, Constantine.

One more bit of fun: the name “Arnold” means “eagle power.” His middle name is “Alois” which is German for “Aloysius” which is Latin for “Louis” which is French for “Ludwig.” The name Ludwig is also German, and happens to mean “famous warrior.” Interestingly enough, three of the Merovingian kings bore the name Ludwig, although it was usually Latinized as “Clovis.” Who were the Merovingians? Some say they were of the Bloodline of Christ.

I think “Schwarzenegger” means “black plowman” but I can’t seem to cook up a good symbolic interpretation of that. Oh wait, I just found another site saying that “egger” may also mean a “harrow.” A harrow is a farming tool used to smooth out broken up soil after plowing. In English, used as a verb, “harrow” may also mean “to plunder or to sack.” Which is starting to come closer to the mark of the Anti-Christ. Or it may mean “To inflict great distress or torment on,” which is where we get the word “harrowing,” which means “extremely distressing; agonizing.”

The name “black plowman” also reminds me tangentially of “Black Peter.” In Germanic tradition, Black Peter was a figure who travelled around with Santa. Instead of Santa giving out coals to bad children, Black Peter did, and he also gave them switches (lashings). Black Peter is also what the Dutch called the Devil. It’s said that St. Nicholas (Santa) put the Devil in chains, and made him do his bidding. In this light, perhaps Black Peter has been loosed in the form of the Terminator/Anti-Christ and he is coming to deliver punishment to all the bad children.

This reminds me in turn of another Norse legend of the end of the world, Ragnarok, in which the Fenris wolf is unchained and loosed upon the world. From the Voluspa, in the Elder Edda:

“The chains that hold the Fenris Wolf are rent asunder, and the Wolf courses about. Brothers shall fight and slay one another; sisters’ sons shall break the bonds of kinship. It shall fare hard with the world: great whoredom, an axe-age, a sword-age, shields shall be cloven, a wind-age, a wolf-age, ere the world sinks in ruin. No man shall spare the other.”

UPDATE!

Two new details uncovered: (1) Ran pointed out that “Alois” Arnold’s middle name, is also the name of Hitler’s father. And Arnold’s father was an Austrian Nazi SS man. (2) Just looking at Etemenanki some more, and he points out that “Ronald” (as in Reagan - see mention above) and “Arnold” are anagrams of one another.
