Via AltReligion, check out this hilarious drawing of a Rastafarian stealing a woman’s purse, presumably to go buy some “ganja”.

Never has state-sponsored bigotry been more hilarious. Apparently this drawing was part of a book on religious education for fifth graders in Jamaica. The government Education Ministry has pulled the book out of the curriculum. I wasn’t really aware that anti-Rasta sentiment was such a problem in Jamaica, but it must be pretty fairly accepted if this shit even got through in the first place. This is one of the most absurd things I’ve ever seen.

[On a side note, if this is the kind of piss-poor illustration work that gets published in Jamaica, I ought to move down there and make a mint doing hilarious hate-filled drawings.]
