Glowing Leaf Dreams

I had a very unusual series of dreams last night. Even more unusual, I think, than the ones I described earlier in the day. In this series of dreams, I was in a dark place. Could have been my bed, or someplace else. I was being presented with sets of information about particular people and their problems. It was my task to temporarily sort of fuse with them, and help them figure out whatever needed figuring out. Then I would move onto the next one. I would guess there were perhaps twenty instances of this.

It was actually kind of similar to the premise of the show Quantum Leap which I adored growing up. I don’t especially think it was based on that though, but I guess symbols like that never die in the subconscious. Anyway, the whole thing was freakishly realistic and intense, and made for some very unrestful sleep.

Also noteworthy in my dream was the means via which I was receiving this information. It seems that I had a small leaf which was stuck to my face, in between and above my eyes, where the ajna chakra or mystical third eye is said to be located. This leaf was shaped like an aspen leaf, and was completely white and illuminated. It was the gate through which I was receiving this information.

The thing with the leaf stuck to me reminds me of the legend of Sigurd/Sigfried the dragonslayer. He lays in wait for the dragon Fafnir, hidining in a pit. When Fafnir crosses the pit, Sigurd plunges his sword into him. When this happens, the blood of the dragon washes over Sigurd’s body, rendering him invulnerable. Except of course for a small spot in his back, which a leaf had gotten stuck to. Coincidentally, the leaf is said to have been a linden leaf, which is shaped just like an aspen. Later on in that story Sigurd eats a bit of the dragon’s heart, and is then able to understand the language of birds. That is, information comes to him suddenly where there was none before, like in my dream.

I found a cool heraldric badge online which features an aspen leaf against a sun backdrop which is a nice symbolic stand-in for the leaf in my dream.

I’ve been trying on and off since to look up info on the ajna/brow chakra. Unfortunately, there is so much fucking horrible information online in this area that I’ve not found anything which I found personally useful. If anybody knows a good resource for this sort of thing online, I’d love to check it out.
