I got an email from the website with that weird Sophia Stewart Matrix-plagiarism interview on it. Evidently, they also have a page with an mp3 audio file of the same interview. I’m attempting to download it as we speak but it’s some 50 megs, and I have a measly dial-up service. Who knows how long it will take. This site is rather difficult to navigate, I find, and some elements seem to be non-functioning in my FireFox browser, so here is a direct link to the file. Supposedly this is the full unedited version of the interview, so maybe some real light will be shed on this whole thing once and for all. Either that or we’ll continue going round in circles.

In any event, also track the controversy via “Sophia Stewart” on Technorati. Of the many strange accounts on Technorati, perhaps the strangest is the one from a person who supposedly met Stewart at some kind of civil service office waiting room, and she told them to have their teeth whitened, and did numerology on their name.

Also strange is that this story got hit on BoingBoing way back in December 2004, but never really spread that far. The oldest blog reference I can find about the story is from Nov. 29 of last year. It seems to refer to the article dated Oct. 4 that she won her court case at that time. According to other things I’ve seen, the court case doesn’t actually start until July of this year.
