Here is a rather bizarre news story from India, just in time for Easter. A woman seems to have committed suicide so that her eyes could be removed and the corneas given to her two blind sons. The only problem is that doctors supposedly told her ahead of time that cornea transplants weren’t likely to help her sons at all. Either way, it seems like a pretty weird story in light of Easter being tomorrow, and the whole thing about how Jesus dies for your sins and all that crap. I personally find this logic to be somewhat flawed though, that God loves us so much that he murdered his son. Check out an older post I wrote on the topic. I rather prefer the gnostic interpretation wherein Jesus’s true message of personal knowledge of god was perverted by the archons into this weird thing about sin. Either way, good times… Happy Easter!
