Amazing Art by Paul Laffoley

Somebody recently recommended to me the artwork of Paul Laffoley, which I absolutely freaking LOVE. I can’t seem to locate one really solid source for his images online, but have cobbled together a few things below to check out. His work consists of a lot of mandala-like structures - but not in a stupid or played out way. They are really metaphysical and consist of really insanely intricate diagrammatical structures. I wish I had some of these as prints so I could have them on my walls and speculate over all the shit that’s being presented. This guy seems really fucking amazing. Also, he supposedly had an alien implant removed from his head several years ago, for whatever that’s worth…

This is definitely some of the coolest art I’ve seen in a long long time. If anybody knows of a good solid resource for him online, I’d be most appreciative. I’ll definitely be coming back to this for some more digging and will post on him again in the future.

wow, that is crazy stuff! gonna have to look for more.

although it’s completely different, ever seen austin osman spare’s paintings? they’re some of my fave. i like his art better than his magickal theorizing . . . .

What a weird synchronicity that you should post this. Just a couple weeks ago, I stumbled across one of these by accident, and just last night watched a profile of the artist on DVD. It’s been on my eternal list of “things to check out.” Just extraordinary.

as to alex grey, i think his work is pretty, but i find it to be rather boring. i cant really explain why. it just feels a bit empty to me somehow
