I just wanted to direct anybody who missed it to Jeremy’s ass-kicking essay on Gnosticism, the collapse of civilization and the positive side of conspiracy theory. It’s called Running Toward the Bomb. You can find Part I and Part II here, but Part III is far and away my favorite. I haven’t read anything as interesting or inspiring as that in quite some time. I’d venture to say that it should be required reading for anybody interested in any of those topics - and especially for people who are interested in how they all fit together.
