The Silence of Sophia Stewart
A while ago I was contacted by the people who’d conducted the Sophia Stewart interview giving me a link to the mp3 file of it. A day or two ago, I wrote them asking if they had contact info for her, and if they were aware of whether or not she’d be interested in conducting any more interviews. Here is their response:
We have been following your writings, comments, etc. “Occult Investigator” as well, specifically on the Sophia Stewart interview, which prompted us to provide you the link to the audio. The interview was more extensive however, per agreement with Ms. Stewart, the remainder of the interview was “off the record.”
Unfortunately, we have not spoken with Ms. Stewart since our interview on March 6, 2005. We are aware that she is currently on tour and my not be available for immediate interview at this time. Her contact information is on the web if you do a google search or you can find her address information at our website.
We have reason to believe that her lawyers may have advised her not to conduct any more interviews for obvious reasons - but you can try. Let us know if you are successful and provide us with a link to the interview once it is complete.
Thank you for your interest
I may still pursue this, but this is about what I was expecting. I wonder if she’d be more inclined to do an interview if we didn’t talk about the lawsuit at all. I’m not particularly interested in that anyway. I’m much more interested in all her metaphysical musings - which I’ve been trying to highlight in more detail. Anyway… yet another chapter in this ongoing mystery.

I think she’d be more eagar to take an opportunity to talk exclusively about her philosophy, worldview, etc. instead of the lawsuit.
But… I can’t help, but wonder how Grant Morrison fits into all this, as I had been under the impression that he was the one who got ripped off by the Wachowskis (issues of The Invisibles were supposedly strewn on the set.)

Having not read either Stewart’s or Morrison’s comics, I really don’t know…
