Unless of course you are not recognized as such, it is very humbling. Every mother see her son as the Sun King. He soon learns that it is in her eyes only and then discredits her intuition. Ah then freud discredits this ego and one has to jump into Jung, where it is restored internally. Being a mother, I see and feel the process. Internallizing an uncontional love requires displacing the real blood and guts mother. The hard part is for the mother to accept this. But, then it is freedom for her, if she lets go of all the societical santioned responses. Do birds resent it when the mother allows the chick to fly and does not continue to provide worms and food? There is a continum, but isn't is a different sphere entirely? Perhaps when everyone recognizes the sun/son (daughter)in others, we will be able to truly return/accept the garden of eden as now and the tree of knowledge as a truth serum. aah, but I dream. It gave me a headache until I heard of a scientist Richard Milton who wrote Shattering the Myths of Darwinism and Alternate Science. Reading the comments about the books on amazon, I realized I want to read them, just because they do not seem to be reductionist dogma. If you cannot question something without being labelled, then for me, there is a doubt about it all. Real inquiry reqiuires a critical mind. I guess this is why I like your site.
